All our offices have resumed normal office hours. Safeguarding the health of our patients, staff, and local community remains our highest priority and commitment. For more information and updates on our responses to COVID-19, please click here.
In order to promote social distancing and limit the number of patients and other visitors in our office at any given time, we kindly ask that only the patient, and a legal guardian for minors, are present for the exam or office visit. Please leave all other family members or friends at home. Furthermore, we revised our patient scheduling policies to increase the time between patients to reduce the total number of patients in our office at one time.
Our number one priority is to protect the health of our patients, staff, and local community. As such, we’ve increased the frequency and depth of our cleaning, disinfecting, and sanitization to ensure that all of our furniture, equipment, supplies, and common areas continue to exceed the highest standards of cleanliness we have always maintained. We have also provided additional guidance to all of our team members regarding individual precautions and preventative best practices to continually promote a healthy and safe environment for all.
In accordance with our updated office policies and State Orders, please be advised that face masks must be worn at all times while in our office.
Please call to reschedule your existing appointment if, within the past 20 days, any of the following conditions apply to you, a family member, or anyone that you have been in close contact with:
As always, we will continue to provide you with further updates as more information develops.
Thank you as always for your continued and dedicated support and we look forward to seeing you soon!
Welcome to Eye Central, where we focus on what matters most – our patients. We are well known for our thorough, and comprehensive AIE approved eye exams that are tailored to the needs of seniors, children, and patients with diabetes. We also specialize in the treatment of ocular diseases, including dry eyes and glaucoma.
Our two medically-focused, patient-centered locations have been the primary eye care providers of families for decades. Our McLean office has been serving local families since 1966, and our Capitol Hill office first opened its doors in 1981.

What I look for in a specialist is professionalism and accuracy in diagnoses and treatment, and I have found that with Eye Central. The office is efficient, calm, and clean, supported by an excellent, polite staff. I have been pleased with the service for years, and I have no intention of switching.
I have always been pleased with my experiences at Eye Central where the staff are professional yet approachable and where my optometrist Dr. Foley is a good listener who makes time to offer thorough explanations and effective guidance regarding my eye health.
